Super Metroid: Remix

Nothing special if you're a #jzder or have already seen my topic on M2K2. Just carrying the (updated) info from there to here and getting everything condensed into one neat post. Forgive the URLs; having everything display at once would be cluttered as all hell:

The information:
Super Metroid: Remix is an upcoming fullhack by yours truly. Originally intended to be a halfhack with minimal graphic editing, these plans changed quickly as I started learning more of the intermediate/advanced aspects like expanding rooms and tile data, editing/adding doors/adding new rooms and painting my own graphics from scratch. Every existing room in the game will be revamped, as well as many new rooms added with significant changes to the map and room layouts, item order, and the order in which you can visit certain areas.

Game difficulty will range from easy to challenging and there will be no advanced tricks like mock/speedball required to progress, only wall jumping, mid-air morphing, the occasional shinespark and common sense. The aim of Remix is simply a new interpretation of the original game. An attempt to recapture the feel of exploring Zebes' alien environments for the first time and never knowing what lies beyond the next door. Unlike many hacks in the past, Remix will put a little more emphasis on action and exploration than puzzle solving.

The game's route to the end will also be highly variable, and a lot of areas are open to explore straight from the beginning - assuming you've got the balls and resourcefulness to challenge difficult parts early without sufficient equipment. A joy for casual players and speedrunners alike.

Crateria: Done! Well, except for 3 rooms.
Green/Blue/Pink Brinstar: 30%ish
Red Brinstar: Done!
Kraid's Lair: Done!
Wrecked Ship/Norfair/Maridia/Tourian: Untouched

Well, just as over there as here, it's all seriously awesome stuff. I can't stop believing that you're actually one of DMantra's immediate family members that became separated from the family at birth and given to a loving foster family. Also, spoiler tags would have been beautiful (with some outside them as previews!)
